In Tuesday's league contest, the host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays basketball team scored a close 57-55 triumph over the Auburn Trojans.
The Bluejays (23-6) will now prepare for their contest against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans go into the Sangamo contest with a 8-18 record. In their last contest, Olympia was tipped by Athens (Athens, IL), 69-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) in a Sangamo contest, on Friday, February 21. Auburn will attempt to better on its 27-3 season record. The Bullets go into the contest with a 26-3 record after their 52-27 league win over New Berlin (New Berlin, IL).
