The Avery Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Miller Grove Hornets to 35 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 24-12 record. They play next when they travel to Forestburg for a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. Avery will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 64-38 non-league win over Newcastle (Newcastle, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 22-6.

With the loss, Miller Grove falls to 10-17 on the campaign.
