Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT), 102-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Burlington upgrades its record to 21-2 on the year. The Seahorses travel to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT) to face the Green Knights in a Metro match on Saturday, February 22. The Green Knights enter the match with a record of 17-4.
The Raiders now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Mansfield for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. Rutland will face a Cougars squad coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Cougars record now stands at 10-10.
