In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Fowlerville Gladiators basketball team scored a close 58-51 win over the New Lothrop Hornets.
The Gladiators (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Williamston (Williamston, MI). The Hornets come into the Capital Area - Red contest with a 4-15 record.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI) in a Mid-Michigan contest, on Friday, February 21. New Lothrop will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 14-6 record after their 67-61 league loss to Durand (Durand, MI).
