In Tuesday's non-league test, the SPIRE Academy SPIRE (Geneva, OH) basketball squad got by the host Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), by a score of 56-53.
Next, the SPIRE encounter the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 19. SPIRE Academy will attempt to improve on its 12-14 season record. The Cadets come into the test with a 6-12 record after their 86-67 non-league loss to Westerville North (Westerville, OH).
The Falcons (17-4) will now prepare for their test against McKinley (Niles, OH). The Red Dragons come into the non-league test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, McKinley was nipped by Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH), 59-54, in a non-league test.
