The St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) basketball crushed the host Kennedy Cougars (New Orleans, LA), 53-30 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Purple Knights now possess a 25-4 record. They play next when they host St. James for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. St. Augustine will play a Wildcats team coming off a 80-71 non-league loss to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-15.
With the loss, Kennedy falls to 23-8 on the campaign.
