The MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) basketball edged the visiting Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL), 58-57 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Generals now possess a 22-8 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. MacArthur will play a Chargers team coming off a 58-56 league loss to Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 12-16.
With the loss, Mt. Zion falls to 21-9 on the campaign. The Braves host Effingham (Effingham, IL) to play the Hearts in a Apollo bout on Thursday, February 20. The Hearts go into the bout with a record of 7-23. Effingham lost 62-37 in their recent non-league bout against Highland (Highland, IL)
