Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mohawk Area bests Waynesburg Central

The Mohawk Area Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Waynesburg Central Raiders to 40 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now possess a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Southmoreland for a non-league game on Friday, February 21. Mohawk Area will play a Scotties team coming off a 58-50 non-league win over Carlynton (Carnegie, PA). The Scotties record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Waynesburg Central falls to 8-14 on the campaign.
