The Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL), 53-35 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 10-20 record. They play next when they host Vandalia for a South Central bout on Thursday, February 20. Pana will play a Vandals team coming off a 76-62 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL). The Vandals record now stands at 13-17.

With the loss, North Mac falls to 10-18 on the campaign. The Panthers host Southwestern (Piasa, IL) to play the Piasa Birds in a South Central bout on Thursday, February 20. The Piasa Birds go into the bout with a record of 17-12. Southwestern won 55-41 in their recent league bout against Gillespie (Gillespie, IL)
