South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD), 79-56 in a league match.
With the victory, South River advances its record to 20-3 on the year.
The Eagles now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Severna Park for a Anne Arundel County match on Thursday, February 20. Northeast will face a Falcons squad coming off a 57-47 league loss to North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 13-9.
