The Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) basketball were winner over the host Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA), 58-40 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 15-7 record. They play next when they host North Mahaska for a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. Grundy Center will play a Warhawks team coming off a 58-50 non-league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 19-3.
With the loss, Alburnett falls to 8-13 on the campaign.
