Suttons Bay Norsemen (Suttons Bay, MI) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Boyne Falls Loggers (Boyne Falls, MI), 55-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Suttons Bay advances its record to 2-16 on the year. The Norsemen travel to Onekama (Onekama, MI) to meet the Portagers in a Northwest match on Wednesday, February 19. The Portagers enter the match with a record of 14-4. Onekama won 50-37 in their recent league match against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI)
The Loggers now own a 0-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mackinaw City for a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. Boyne Falls will meet a Comets squad coming off a 32-22 non-league win over Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI). The Comets record now stands at 8-11.
