California High School Lacrosse - Esperanza nips Downey

February 18, 2025: Downey, CA 90241

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Esperanza Aztecs lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-4 triumph over the Downey Vikings.

The Aztecs (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodbridge (Irvine, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Woodbridge was nipped by Edison (Huntington Beach, CA), 15-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 27. Downey will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
