Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Appling County moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cook (Adel, GA) to clash with the Hornets in a 2A Area 1 test on Friday, February 21. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-3. Cook lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Tift County (Tifton, GA)

The Raiders now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berrien for a 1A D-I Area 1 test on Friday, February 21. Bacon County will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Ware County (Waycross, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
