The Gilmer Bobcats soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Fannin County Rebels to 0 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. Gilmer will play a Warriors squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Fannin County moves to 0-2 on the year. The Rebels travel to Creekview (Canton, GA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Creekview lost 6-1 in their recent non-league bout against Etowah (Woodstock, GA)
