California High School Softball - St. Genevieve topped by Rio Hondo Prep

Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA), 18-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Rio Hondo Prep improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Kares host Bellflower (Bellflower, CA) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. The Buccaneers enter the game with a record of 0-1.

The Valiants now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brentwood School for a non-league game on Thursday, February 20.
