In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Monte Alto Blue Devil baseball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Progreso Red Ants.
The Blue Devil (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Falfurrias (Falfurrias, TX). The Fightin' Jerseys go into the 3A Region IV District 31 game with a 5-0 record.
Next, the Red Ants play the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 20. Progreso will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
