Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) and the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), saw Los Altos's basketball squad overcome Independence by a tally of 61-51.

With the victory, Los Altos improves its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 17-6. Menlo-Atherton won 60-41 in their recent league challenge against Woodside (Woodside, CA)
