    • Mississippi High School Basketball - Leake Central overwhelms Pontotoc

    February 19, 2022: Carthage, MS 39051

    Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS) and the visiting Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS), saw Leake Central's basketball squad wallop Pontotoc by a count of 69-47.

    With the victory, Leake Central upgrades its record to 20-1 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Gentry (Indianola, MS) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 26. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 25-7. Gentry won 64-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Corinth (Corinth, MS)
