South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Thoroughbreds face the Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 20. South Aiken will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
The Cyclones now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Beaufort for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 23.
