El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA), 20-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mater Dei for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 23. El Segundo will battle a Monarchs squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Legacy falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Artesia (Lakewood, CA) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
