Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Woodrow Wilson Bruins (Long Beach, CA), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Highlanders now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 23.
In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Warren Bears (Downey, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 22. Woodrow Wilson will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to El Segundo (El Segundo, CA).
