The Pike County Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting McKenzie Tigers to 8 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Pike County moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host New Brockton (New Brockton, AL) to clash with the Gamecocks in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 15. The Gamecocks come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Blacksher Bulldogs (Uriah, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 21. McKenzie will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
