The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the visiting Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX), saw Salado's softball squad nip Anderson by a count of 7-0.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pflugerville for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 22. Salado will face a Panthers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Anderson falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Crockett (Austin, TX) to face the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 17 match on Tuesday, February 22. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 0-0.
