Marina Vikings (Huntington Beach, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mission Viejo for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 23. Marina will battle a Diablos squad coming off a 16-7 non-league win over Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Diablos record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Beckman falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. JSerra Catholic won 17-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA)
