The Columbia Roughnecks (West Columbia, TX) softball routed the host Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX), 7-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Roughnecks (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Tidehaven was routed by Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
