With the triumph, Medina Valley moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Panthers host Hondo (Hondo, TX) to clash with the Owls in a non-league game on Saturday, February 19. The Owls come into the game with a record of 3-2. Hondo won 7-3 in their recent non-league game against Churchill (San Antonio, TX)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 game, on Tuesday, February 22. Corpus Christi Moody will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Sinton (Sinton, TX).
