In Saturday's non-league contest, the Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX), by a margin of 11-3.
With the triumph, Crosby moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Cougars host Huntsville (Huntsville, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 24. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 5-3. Huntsville lost 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against New Caney (New Caney, TX)
In their next game, the Bruins play the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 22. West Brook will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX).
