Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tallassee Tigers (Tallassee, AL), 13-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Smiths Station for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 19. Hewitt-Trussville will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 12-9 non-league win over Elmore County (Eclectic, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Tallassee falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Stanhope Elmore won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL)
