The St. John Eagles got by the visiting Willow Lions baseball team by a count of 10-9 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Assumption for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. St. John will face a Mustangs team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Erath (Erath, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Lions face the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Willow will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Fighting Eagles enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Redan (Stone Mountain, GA).
