Minnesota High School Basketball - Blackduck ripped by Deer River

The Deer River Warriors basketball team scored 99 points and held the host Blackduck Drakes to 49 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to International Falls for a AA Section 7 contest on Friday, February 23. Deer River will battle a Broncos team coming off a 74-37 non-league loss to Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN). The Broncos record now stands at 3-21.
The Drakes (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN). The Mustangs enter the A Section 8 contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Kelliher/Northome was routed by Nevis (Nevis, MN), 116-47, in a non-league contest.
