The Danbury Hatters basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers to 42 in the Hatters league triumph on Monday.

The Hatters now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph for a Fairfield County contest on Wednesday, February 21. Danbury will battle a Cadets team coming off a 71-69 league loss to Staples (Westport, CT). The Cadets record now stands at 11-8.

The Hilltoppers (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT). The Bears enter the Fairfield County contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Norwalk was routed by Stamford (Stamford, CT), 62-52, in a league contest.
