Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Northwood Evergreens (Minong, WI) and the visiting Butternut Midgets (Butternut, WI), saw Northwood's basketball squad wallop Butternut by a tally of 61-25.

With the victory, Northwood improves its record to 10-14 on the campaign. The Evergreens travel to Clayton (Clayton, WI) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 12-11.

Next up, the Midgets play the Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI) in a Northern Lights challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Butternut will attempt to improve on its 0-22 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 58-50 league loss to Washburn (Washburn, WI).
