Wisconsin High School Basketball - Colfax overwhelmed by Wausau East

The Wausau East Lumberjacks basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Colfax Vikings to 31 in the Lumberjacks non-league victory on Monday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stevens Point for a Wisconsin Valley contest on Thursday, February 22. Wausau East will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-43 league win over Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln (Wisconsin Rapids, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 20-3.
The Vikings (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Mondovi (Mondovi, WI). The Buffaloes come into the Dunn-St. Croix contest with a 2-21 record. In their last contest, Mondovi was routed by Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran (Eau Claire, WI), 55-43, in a non-league contest.
