Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host East Jackson Trojans (Jackson, MI), 70-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Concord upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Union City (Union City, MI) to clash with the Chargers in a Big 8 bout on Thursday, February 22. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Union City won 55-53 in their recent non-league bout against Homer (Homer, MI)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Hillsdale Hornets (Hillsdale, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. East Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 67-55 league loss to Blissfield (Blissfield, MI).
