Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), 63-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dracut upgrades its record to 7-13 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) in a Middlesex bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 63-60 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, MA).
