West Virginia High School Basketball - Elkins can't hold off Grafton

The Grafton Bearcats basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Elkins Tigers to 45 in the Bearcats league triumph on Monday.
The Bearcats now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis County for a Big Ten contest on Tuesday, February 20. Grafton will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 52-45 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Minutemen record now stands at 12-9.
The Tigers (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian was nudged by Petersburg (Petersburg, WV), 54-49, in a non-league contest.
