Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI), 55-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Trojans travel to Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI) to play the Pioneers in a Southeastern - Red bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Pioneer won 79-45 in their recent league bout against Bedford (Temperance, MI)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Milan Big Reds (Milan, MI) in a Huron bout, on Friday, February 23. Grosse Ile will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Big Reds go into the bout with a 5-19 record after their 73-42 non-league loss to Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI).
