The Millington Cardinals basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Ithaca Yellowjackets to 53 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Louis for a Tri-Valley - Blue contest on Tuesday, February 20. Millington will battle a Sharks team coming off a 51-37 league loss to Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Sharks record now stands at 4-16.
The Yellowjackets (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Bluejays come into the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Shepherd was defeated by Beaverton (Beaverton, MI), 51-44, in a league contest.
