Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH), 49-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Zane Trace upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Pioneers travel to North Adams (Seaman, OH) to play the Green Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. The Green Devils go into the bout with a record of 18-4. North Adams lost 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against South Webster (South Webster, OH)
