The Standing Rock Warriors basketball team (Fort Yates, ND), was nudged 72-66 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND)
The Huskies now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley City for a A Region 1 battle on Friday, February 23. Wahpeton will confront a Hi-Liners team coming off a 76-70 non-league loss to Hillsboro/Central Valley (Buxton, ND). The Hi-Liners record now stands at 11-10.
The Warriors (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND). The Skyhawks come into the A Region 4 battle with a 14-6 record.
