The South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) basketball nipped the host Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ), 45-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Somerville (Somerville, NJ). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 23-4 record. In their last test, Somerville got by Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ), 69-41, in a non-league test.
