The Oakridge Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Newaygo Lions to 38 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ravenna for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Oakridge will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-18 non-league win over Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-10.

The Lions (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Shelby (Shelby, MI). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Shelby dropped by Montague (Montague, MI), 45-36, in a non-league contest.
