The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) and the host Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), saw Union County's soccer squad get by Chestatee by a count of 1-0.
The Panthers now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Fannin County for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 21. Union County will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 5-1 league win over North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Chestatee drops to 1-5 on the season. The War eagles host Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA) to meet the Jaguars in a 4A Region 8 test on Friday, February 23. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-3. Cedar Shoals lost 10-0 in their recent league test against North Oconee (Bogart, GA)
