The Jackson Academy Eagles softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Wilcox Academy Wildcats to 3 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Jackson Academy moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Eagles host Southern Academy (Greensboro, AL) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 20. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 1-1. Southern Academy won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against North River Christian (Tuscaloosa, AL)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Snook Christian Academy Eagles (Foley, AL) in a AISA A Region 2 game, on Monday, April 1. Wilcox Academy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
