Diego Rivera Huskies (Los Angeles, CA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Animo Venice Pirates (Los Angeles, CA), 5-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Diego Rivera advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies host George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Generals in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Generals come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Pirates now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Collins Family for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 5.
