Colorado High School Basketball - Swink thwarts Calhan

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Swink Lions (Swink, CO) and the host Calhan Bulldogs (Calhan, CO), observed Swink's basketball team knock off Calhan by a score of 66-50.

The Lions (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake County (Leadville, CO). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Lake County prevailed over Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO), 64-58, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Miami-Yoder Buffaloes (Rush, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 21. Calhan will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 61-36 non-league win over Genoa-Hugo/Karval (Hugo, CO).
