In Wednesday's non-league test, the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball squad trounced the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), by a score of 65-41.
Next, the Miners clash with the Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 20. Mountain Ridge will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Blazers come into the test with a 2-18 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV).
The Trojans (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Preston was routed by Morgantown (Morgantown, WV), 81-37, in a non-league test.
