Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN), 63-58 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Providence Academy upgrades its record to 6-14 on the year. The Lions travel to Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN) to face the Pioneers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 4-16.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Croix Prep for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. Maranatha Christian Academy will face a Lions squad coming off a 96-51 league loss to St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN). The Lions record now stands at 14-7.
