Illinois High School Basketball - Morton nips Streator

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Morton Potters basketball team scored a close 52-48 win over the Streator Bulldogs.

The Potters (23-6) will now prepare for their contest against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 16-14 record. In their last contest, Normal University was tipped by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 55-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Streator will attempt to better on its 23-7 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 9-18 record after their 77-72 league loss to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL).
